Kapitel-Nummer
Diese Nummern sind auf der DVD hinterlegt. Ein Film ist
in Abschnitte unterteilt, die jeweils eine Nummer tragen.
Mit diesen Nummern können Sie Abschnitte oder
Szenen schnell anwählen.
Kindersicherung
Diese Funktion wurde von Eltern vorgeschlagen. Die
Beschränkungen sind in den Disk-Daten enthalten, sie
ermöglichen Ihnen ein Sperren von Filmen, die nicht für
Kinder geeignet sind.
Regionale Sperr-Codes (Regional Code)
DVD-Player und DVDs enthalten regionale Sperr-Codes
für jedes Verkaufsgebiet. Wenn der Regional-Code eines
DVD-Players nicht mit dem Regional-Code der DVD
übereinstimmt, ist keine Wiedergabe möglich.
Untertitel
Untertitel sind beispielsweise auf dem Bildschirm
erscheinende Dialogübersetzungen in einer anderen als
der Originalsprache. Auf einer DVD können
verschiedene Untertitelsprachen aufgenommen sein. Mit
Hilfe der Untertitelfunktion können Sie die gewünschte
Sprache wählen.
Kamerablickwinkel
Einige DVDs enthalten Szenen, die gleichzeitig aus
unterschiedlichen Blickwinkeln aufgenommen wurden.
Bei solchen Disks können Sie die „Angle"-Taste
benutzten, um die Szene aus unterschiedlichen
Blickwinkeln zu betrachten. Disks, die eine solche
Technik enthalten, werden „Multi-Angle-Disks“ genannt.
