  • Domyos Fel f20 eliptical trainer is self powered. Does it have a battery that would need to be replaced?

    • It has a pack of 7 1.2V NiMH cells that is charged when you ride the trainer. NiMH rechargeable cells have definite lifespan depending on usage. When the stored charge is low, the display console will drop off and restart frequently while pedalling, and even more problematic with blue-tooth connection to app. The battery is easily accessible at the base of the machine in the new model, while the old model requires quite some heavy dissembling to access the battery pack.
