MEANING OF THE ALARM LIGHTS
LIGHTS DESCRIPTION MEANING WHAT TO DO

The light is on steadily
Insucient water in the tank or
the tank is not correctly inserted
Fill the tank with water and insert it correct-
ly, pushing it as far as it will go until it clicks
into place.
The tank is dirty or clogged with
limescale
Rinse or descale the tank

The light ashes
The grinding is too ne and the
coee is delivered too slowly or
not at all.
Repeat coee delivery and turn the grinding
adjustment knob (g. 10) one click clockwi-
se towards “7” while the coee mill is in
operation. If after making at least 2 coees
delivery is still too slow, repeat the correction
procedure, turning the grinding adjustment
knob another click until delivery is correct
(see the section: Adjusting the coee mill).

The grounds containter is full or,
after cleaning, it has not been
replaced, or 72 hours has been
elapsed from the rst coee deli-
very after emptying.
Empty the grounds container and drip tray,
clean and replace (g. 18).
Important: when removing the drip tray, the
grounds container MUST be emptied, even if
it contains few grounds.
If this is not done, when you make the next
coees, the grounds container may ll up
more than expected and clog the machine.
(The appliance counts 72 hours correctly
when it is not switched o using the main
switch).

has been selected without pla-
cing any pre-ground coee in the
funnel.
Place pre-ground coee in the funnel or de-
select the “pre-ground” function
The coee beans have run out. Fill the beans container
If the coee mill is very noisy, this
means a small stone in the coee
beans has blocked the mill.

Leave the service door closed and the infuser
out of the coee maker. Press the or
buttons together until the four
lights go o. Only when all four lights are
o can the door be opened and the infuser
inserted.

Press the word PUSH on the infuser until
it clicks into place. Make sure the two red
buttons have snapped out. Close the service
