FILL BEANS CONTAINER The coee beans have run out. Fill the beans container (A4 - g. 13).

The pre-ground coee funnel (A6) is clogged. Empty the funnel with the help of the brush

as described in section “12.8 Cleaning the pre-

ground coee funnel”.

INSERT INFUSER ASSEMBLY The infuser has not been replaced after clea-

ning (A9).

Insert the infuser as described in section “12.7

Cleaning the infuser”.

INSERT TANK The tank (A16) is not correctly in place.

Insert the tank correctly and press as far as it will

go.

GENERAL ALARM The inside of the appliance is very dirty. Clean the appliance thoroughly as described in

section “12.5 Cleaning the inside of the coee

maker”. If the message is still displayed after

cleaning, contact a service centre.

EMPTY CIRCUIT FILL CIRCUIT

The water circuit is empty.

Press the

button (B5) to deliver

water from the spout (C6) until it ows out

normally. If the problem persists, make sure

the water tank (A16) is fully inserted.

REPLACE FILTER The water softener lter (C4) is exhausted. Replace the lter or remove it as described in

section “15. Water softener lter”.

SET DIAL TO CLEAN Milk has been delivered recently and the

tubes inside the milk container (D2) must be

cleaned.

Turn the froth adjustment dial (D1) to CLEAN.

INSERT WATER SPOUT The water spout (C6) is not inserted or is inser-

ted incorrectly

Insert water spout as far as it will go.

INSERT MILK CONTAINER The milk container (D) is not inserted correctly. Insert the milk container (g. 21) as far as it

will go.

19. TROUBLESHOOTING

Below is a list of some of the possible malfunctions.

If the problem cannot be resolved as described, contact Customer Services.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION

The coee is not hot. The cups were not preheated. • Enable the cup warmer (A11) and leave

the cups at least 20 minutes to warm up.

• Warm the cups by rinsing them with hot

water (Please note: you can use the hot

water function).

The internal circuits of the appliance

have cooled down because 2/3 minu-

tes have elapsed since the last coee

was made.

Before making the coee, heat the infuser by

rinsing using the “Rinse” function (see section

“8.1 Rinsing”).

A low coee temperature is set. Set a hotter coee temperature (see section

“8.10 Setting the temperature”).
