3. Installatie

3.1 Plaats van de thermostaat

Thermostaat OpenTherm en Thermostaat RF

Standaard is de thermostaat ingesteld op ruimteregeling, wat inhoudt dat de binnentemperatuur

wordt gebruikt voor het regelen van de cv. U kunt de thermostaat daarom het beste aan een

binnenmuur hangen in de kamer waar u het meest verblijft, bijvoorbeeld de woonkamer.

Hang de thermostaat niet te dicht in de buurt van warmtebronnen (open haard, radiator, lamp, kaarsen,

direct zonlicht, enzovoort), of op plaatsen waar het kan tochten.

Thermostaat RF

Voor de thermostaat RF-uitvoering geldt verder het volgende:

• Plaatsdethermostaatopminstens1metervanapparatenmetelektromagnetischeemissies,zoals

wasmachines, wasdrogers, draadloze telefoons, tv’s, computers, magnetrons enzovoort.

• Plaatsdethermostaatzodanigdatdeontvangstgoedis.Houderrekeningmeedatvoorwerpen

waarin metaal is verwerkt, de ontvangst beïnvloeden. Denk aan beton met staal, spiegels en

ramen met metaalcoating, isolatiefolie enzovoort.
