RET2001OT
Digital OpenTherm™ Room Thermostat
BC337370343702en-000101 | 087R1002 www.danfoss.com
Introduction
The RET2001OT room thermostat varies the heat output of an
OpenTherm compatible condensing boiler by modulating the boiler
flame. This improves boiler efficiency and maintains economical
condensing mode whenever possible.
Daily use is as easy as setting the thermostat to the required
temperature, the advanced electronics and software within the
thermostat establishes two-way communication with the boiler to
ensure optimal operation.
What is a room thermostat?
A room thermostat controls the heating in your home by keeping it
at the temperature you have set. Room thermostats switch off the heat
when the temperature reaches a set point, and switch it on when it falls
below. The heating will not come on if the room temperature is above
the room thermostat set temperature.
Remember that turning the thermostat up will not heat the room any
faster. The higher the thermostat setting the more gas you will use.
