CARING FOR YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN

Turn the oven off before cleaning.

Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food spatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe

with a damp cloth. Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. The use of harsh

detergent or abrasives is not recommended.

The outside oven surface should be cleaned with soap and water, rinsed and dried with a soft

cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts inside the oven, water should not be allowed to

seep into the ventilation openings.

If the Control Panel becomes wet, clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or

abrasives on Control Panel.

If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This

may occur when the microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions and in no way

indicates malfunction of the unit.

Oven cavity floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom

surface of the oven with mild detergent water or window cleaner and dry.

Même si votre four est équipé de dispositifs de sécurité, il est important de respecter les précautions

suivantes :

1. Nessayez pas de forcer ni de déformer les crochets de sécurité.

2. Ne placez aucun objet entre la porte et la face avant du four et ne laissez pas la saleté ou les résidus

saccumuler sur les joints. Nettoyez régulièrement les joints avec un détergent doux, rincez et essuyez.

Nutilisez jamais de poudre ni déponge abrasive.

3. Nexercez aucun effort sur la porte ouverte. Par exemple, un enfant suspendu à la porte ou toute autre

charge peut faire tomber le four, provoquer des blessures et endommager la porte.

Un four endommagé ne doit pas être utilisé tant quil na pas été réparé par une personne qualifiée. Il est

particulièrement important que le four ferme correctement et que :

i) la porte ne soit pas déformée ;

ii) les charnières et les crochets ne soient ni cassés ni branlants ;

iii) les joints de porte et détanchéité soient effectivement étanches.

4. Toute réparation doit être exclusivement effectuée par un technicien qualifié.

5. Le four doit être nettoyé régulièrement et les résidus daliments doivent être retirés.

6. Si le four n'est pas maintenu en bon état de propreté sa surface pourrait se dégrader et affecter de façon

inexorable la durée de vie de l'appareil et conduire à une situation dangereuse.
