Dieses Gerät ist so konstruiert und hergestellt, dass es auf die auf einer DVD
aufgenommenen Regionalcode-Informationen reagiert. Der Regionalcode dieses
Players ist “2”. Wenn der auf der DVD angegebene Ländercode (Regionalcode)
nicht der Regionalcodenummer dieses Players entspricht, kann die DVD auf dem
Player nicht abgespielt werden. Auf dem Gerät können für “ALLE” Regionen
hergestellte DVDs abgespielt werden. Es können also auf diesem Player DVDs
mit Etiketten, auf denen als Regionalcode (Ländercode) “2” oder “ALLE”
angegeben ist, abgespielt werden.

BEGRIFFSERKLÄRUNGEN
Die Bilder oder Musik einer DVD sind in
Einheiten unterteilt, wobei der “Titel” die
größte ist.
Wenn eine DVD abgespielt wird, ist der
Film der Titel.
Wenn eine CD abgespielt wird, stellen die
kombinierten Tracks (Musikstücke,
Filmabschnitte) den Titel dar.
Ein Kapitel ist die kleinere der Einheiten
auf einer DVD. Ein Titel besteht aus
mehreren Kapiteln, und jedes Kapitel hat
eine Nummer, um eine Suche zu
ermöglichen. Einige DVDs haben
allerdings keine nummerierten Kapitel.
Bei einer CD hat jede Spur eine Nummer,
so dass die Verwendung der
Suchfunktionen ermoglicht wird.
