Tips and Notes
The product is designed for storage of valuable objects or protection against unauthorised
access.
The break-in protection is achieved by constructive solution, i.e. by steel sheet body frame,
door and lock design. The solution perplexes unauthorised access to the valuable objects
stored in the safe.
When opening/closing the safe, make sure you are not viewed by anybody.
Thick door with lock mechanics contained therein prevents from access to the interior of the
safe. Close the door cautiously, do not use excessive force! Otherwise you can damage the
objects kept in the safe.
Never keep in the safe both keys provided. It would be impossible to open the safe if you
forget your user or master code!
If you forget your master or user code, open the safe with the key provided, and set the new
master or user code.
Maintenance and Care
Apart from the occasional battery change, the product is maintenance-free for you.
Clean the safe occasionally with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged (discoloured).
Disposal
a) Product
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
Remove any batteries inserted and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable
batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to
indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols for the rele-
vant heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead (marked on batteries/
rechargeable batteries, e.g. under the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to the of cial collec-
tion points of your community, in our stores, or everywhere where batteries or rechargeable
batteries are sold!
You thereby ful l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
