The light indicator (4) is red flashing to indicate you that the appliance is charging. When the
corkscrew is fully recharged, the light indicator will become green without flashing.
Then remove the corkscrew from its base and unplug the AC adapter.
Foil-cutter using
This unit is equipped with a removable foil cutter. Before using the corkscrew, you must remove any foil
from the top of the bottle using the foil cutter provided.
Place the foil cutter on the neck of the bottle.
Hold firmly the bottle by its lower part and on the other the foil cutter. Make rotating movements in
order to cut the protection.
Remove any part of the protection that would be on the top of the cork (in contact with the unit).
Corkscrew using
Remove the corkscrew from its base and place it the corkscrew on the top of the wine bottle. Ensure
that it remains as upright as possible at all the times.
Note: if you hold the corkscrew at an angle to the bottle, it will not remove the cork properly
Hold the corkscrew firmly and depress the lower part of the switch (3) .The corkscrew spiral will turn in
an anticlockwise direction and enter the cork. The cork will be removed from the bottle step by step.
When the corkscrew mechanism stops, the cork has been fully removed from the bottle.
Lift the corkscrew away from the bottle in a vertical way. To remove the cork from corkscrew spiral,
depress the upper part of the switch (2). The spiral will turn in a clockwise direction and release the
cork. When the corkscrew mechanism stops, the cork has been fully removed from the corkscrew
spiral.
Always return the corkscrew to the wine base when you have finished with it. This will protect the
mechanism while it is not in use.
4. MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning your appliance (something that should be done regularly), disconnect it by removing
the plug or by pulling the fuse on the circuit.
2. Before using your appliance for the first time and regularly after that, we recommend that you wipe the
outside parts with a soft and dry rag.
Note: do never use alcohol or solvent to clean the appliance. Do
never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
