Supplementary information
Intended Use
The article is intended to be used for sweeping dry, smooth
hard oors indoors.
The article is designed for personal use only and is not intended
for commercial applications. The article should only be used as
described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed to be
improper.
The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects
caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised at-
tempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
Important Instructions
Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material.
Only use the accessory parts from the manufacturer.
Do not drop the article or subject it to heavy impacts.
Protect the article from heat, naked ames, extreme tempera-
tures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and collisions.

Before Initial Use
Unpack all parts and remove any protective lms or stickers.
Check the items supplied for possible transport damage. If you
should nd any transport damage, do not (!) use the article, but
contact the customer service department immediately.
Assembly
1. Screw the top stem part (1) to the middle stem part (2).
2. Screw the middle stem part (2) to the bottom stem part (3).
3. Plug the bottom stem part (3) as far as it will go into the
mount (8) on the cleaning foot (5). The article is now ready
for use!
The article is disassembled in the reverse order.
Use
The stem can be pivoted roughly 180° forwards and back-
wards and to the sides.
1. Assemble the article (see the “Assembly” section).
2. Slide the article over the surface to be cleaned. The wide side
of the cleaning foot (5) must be at the front and at the same
time indicates the direction of travel.
3. Empty the dirt container (4) (see the “Cleaning” section).
Cleaning
CAUTION!
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or clean-
ing pads to clean the article. These could damage the surfac-
es.
Clean the article with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent if
necessary. Then dry it with a soft cloth.
Regularly remove hair and uff from the brushes. Use the
cleaning tool which is provided for this purpose.
Emptying / Cleaning the Dirt Container
1. Detach the cleaning foot (5) from the stem before cleaning if
necessary.
2. Hold the cleaning foot (5) over an open dustbin. The distance
from the dustbin should be as short as possible to ensure that
the dirt from the dirt container (4) falls into the dustbin only and
does not spill into the environment.
3. Open up the lid of the dirt container (4) and tip out the dirt.
4. Wipe out the dirt container (4) with a damp cloth and, if neces-
sary, a little mild cleaning agent.
Storage
The top stem part (1) has a suspension lug which can be used
to hook the article onto a bracket on the wall.
Store the article in a dry, clean place that is protected from
direct sunlight and heat and is not accessible to children and
animals.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the pack-
aging in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to
a recycling centre. Dispose of the article in an environmen-
tally friendly manner as well. More information is available
from your local authorities.
