Keep hair, clothing, jewellery, ngers, or other body parts away from the openings or
rotating parts of the device when it is in operation.
Risk of Electrical Shock
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Otherwise there is a risk of electrical
shocks. Do not use the device if it falls in water.
Do not touch the device with wet hands. Do not use the device outdoors or in rooms with
a high humidity.
Only use the device in dry, indoor spaces. Do not use the device if it has been outdoors for
a long period of time.
In the event of damages / malfunctions, immediately disconnect the device from the electrical
line.
ATTENTION: serious risk to life and limb due to electrical shock! Never attempt to repair
an electrical device yourself, rather locate the nearest customer service centre / quali ed
professional for your own safety. This also applies to the power cord. In the event of damage,
contact the customer service department.
Do not use the device if the cable or plug is damaged or if the device is otherwise damaged.
Never carry or pull the device by the power cord, always handle the power cord with care.
Avoid catching the cord on doors and pulling it across sharp edges or corners. Keep the
cable away from hot surfaces.
Only connect the device to an electrical socket, which has been properly installed and

easily accessible after the device has been connected.
The device must be off when you pull out the mains plug or connect it with a socket.

the plug. Only take hold of the mains plug when your hands are dry.

The lters must be completely dry after washing before you put them back in the device.
Only use the device if it has been properly assembled and the mains cord has been completely
unwound. The reservoirs for fresh and dirty water, and both lters (exhaust lter and
protective motor lter) must be installed.
For your own safety, always check the device for damages prior to using it. In the event
of defects, the device may not be used until repaired by a professional. If the mains cord is
damaged, it must be replaced at a quali ed workshop to avoid risks.
Always make sure that there is no risk of the device tipping over. The water could leak out
of the water reservoirs.
Connected cords may not pose a tripping hazard.
Make sure that there is no risk of the device rolling over the mains cord.
