ÜBEREINSTIMMUNG MIT DER
RICHTLINIE EU 2006/66/EG
Das Symbol mit der durchgestrichenen Mülltonne sagt
aus, dass das Altgerät nach Beendigung seines Lebens-
zyklus getrennt vom Hausmüll gesammelt und entsorgt werden
müssen. Sie müssen in ein spezielles Sammelzentrum gebracht
werden bzw. können beim Kauf gleichwertiger, neuer, aufladbarer
und nicht aufladbarer Batterien beim Händler abgegeben werden.
Das unterhalb des Symbols mit der durchgestrichenen Mülltonne
möglicherweise angebrachte chemische Zeichen Hg, Cd, Pb steht
für die chemische Substanz in der Batterie, Hg= Quecksilber, Cd=
Cadmium, Pb= Blei. Der Halter ist dafür verantwortlich, die Batte-
rien nach Lebensende an eine geeignete Sammelstruktur zu geben,
um Aufbereitung und Recycling zu fördern.
Eine angemessene Mülltrennung ist zum darauffolgenden Recyc-
ling der Altbatterien sowie zur umweltverträglichen Aufbereitung
und Entsorgung eine grundlegende Voraussetzung, hilft, bei der
Vermeidung möglicher negativer Auswirkungen auf Umwelt und
Gesundheit und fördert das Recycling der Materialien, aus denen
das Produkt gefertigt ist. Die widerrechtliche Entsorgung des Pro-
dukts durch den Halter verursacht Umwelt- und Gesundheitsschä-
den. Für nähere Informationen zu den verfügbaren Sammlungs-
und Entsorgungsmöglichkeiten wenden Sie sich an Ihr örtliches
Abfallwirtschaftsamt oder an Ihren Händler.
