OCULARI
Il telescopio è dotato di due oculari, uno a bassa potenza (oculare da 20 mm) e uno ad alta potenza (oculare da 4 mm).
Quando si prepara il telescopio, iniziare sempre con l’oculare da 20 mm. Una volta che l’oggetto target si trova al centro
dell’oculare da 20 mm, è possibile passare all’oculare più potente da 4 mm per ottenere una visione più dettagliata.
Per installare un oculare su un rifrattore da 60 mm, 70 mm o 80 mm:
1. Allentare le viti sull’estremità aperta della diagonale stellare.
2. Inserire il barilotto argentato dell’oculare da 20 mm nella diagonale
stellare (Fig. 5).
3. Serrare le viti per fi ssare l’oculare.
4. Per vedere l’immagine più nitida possibile è necessario mettere
a fuoco guardando attraverso l’oculare e ruotando lentamente le
manopole di messa a fuoco fi no a ottenere l’immagine più nitida.
Per installare un oculare sul rifrattore newtoniano da 114 mm:
1. Allentare le due viti argentate sul focheggiatore ed estrarre il piccolo
tappo protettivo in plastica.
2. Inserire il barilotto argentato sulla base dell’oculare nel focheggiatore.
(Fig. 6).
3. Serrare le due viti per fi ssare l’oculare.
4. Per vedere l’immagine più nitida possibile, è necessario mettere a
fuoco l’oculare. Per mettere a fuoco, guardare attraverso l’oculare e
ruotare lentamente le manopole.
NOTA: il rifrattore newtoniano da 114 mm è dotato di uno speciale oculare da 20 mm che fornisce un’immagine
orientata correttamente per una visione terrestre diurna. L’oculare da 4 mm è ideato per l’osservazione
astronomica e fornisce un’immagine capovolta. Ciò è del tutto normale.
CERCATORE STARPOINTER
ExploraScope è dotato di un cercatore StarPointer a puntino rosso che viene
utilizzato come strumento di visione quando si punta il telescopio a un oggetto
target.
Per installare il cercatore StarPointer:
1. Rimuovere i due dadi argentati dalle aste fi lettate sulla parte
superiore del tubo, vicino al focheggiatore.
2. Sistemare i due fori della base del cercatore sulle aste fi lettate
in modo che la base del cercatore sia a fi lo con il tubo del
telescopio. Accertarsi che la fi nestrella rotonda del cercatore
sia rivolta verso l’estremità del telescopio puntato verso
l’oggetto target.
3. Avvitare nuovamente i due dadi sulle aste fi lettate (Fig. 7).
4. È presente una linguetta in plastica trasparente tra la batteria e i contatti. È
stata inserita per evitare che la batteria si scaricasse durante il trasporto.
Estrarla per consentire alla batteria di funzionare.
