Adjusting the strap with buckleWatertightness to DIN 8310Watch care and precautionsWarranty
Open the buckle and pull the strap (in the
direction of the arrow shown) until the ad-
justment pin appears.
When the position is correct for your wrist,
place the adjustment pin in the desired hole.
Pull the adjustment pin into the buckle (by
pulling the strap in the direction of the ar-
row shown) until pin clicks into place
Slide extra strap through the loop keeper
before snapping the clasp together.
The exactness of a (mechanical) automatic watch is naturally not
comparable with a quartz watch. Low divergences (+/- 30 sec./
day), are normally just with differences in temperature. To ob-
tain these low divergences, you must completely winding the
watch by hand before you wearing it!
Push buttons only easily and slowly. Importantly no strong and
quick pushes!
No calendar settings between 18:00 and 6:00 o‘clock, to avoid
damages of the calendar mechanism! At non-observance it can
lead to gearwheel break or similar damages.
Some watches have screwed up crowns which have to be released
anticlockwise.
The buttons and crowns of XXL watches are screwed up by caps
which have to be unscrewed anticlockwise.
Avoid strong percussions (e.g. drop down or bang).
Avoid strong electric elds or static electricity which could harm
your watch machanics.
Keep your watch clean. Use a damp and soft cloth for cleaning
your watch. Never dive your watch under water.
We recommend having your watch checked once every year to ensure
long use and trouble free operation.
Please, note that the information of the watertightness counts to the new
state of the watch and is to DIN 8310 no remaining quality, because the
built-in sealing elements decrease in their function and in the everyday
use. Therefore, you avoid in general contact with water. It should be che-
cked yearly and in particular before special strains.
Weak spots with waterproofed watches are a watch glass, crown, case
back or even construction of the case.
Avoid using soap or other chemicals wich could damage thick elements
of your watch.
Don’t push buttons if the watch is wet.
The crown should be always put on the normal position in the water.
The screwed crown should be drawn.
Please, note that for a short time high air compression can originate
from a impetuous swimming moving or jumping in the water.
Should water or condensation appear in the watch face, have the watch
checked immediate. The water can lead to corrosion of the components.
We guarantee the watch described on the enclosed certifi cate for two
years. The guarantee is valid from the date of purchase, provided that
your watch was sold by an authorized dealer and that the certifi cate of
guarantee was completed properly. This guarantee covers all defects
due to defective materials or manufacturing. During this period,
regulations, adjustments, repairs or the replacement of parts or the
movement will be carried out free of charge, except when the damage
has been caused by accidents or as a result of the intervention of un-
authorized persons. This guarantee does not cover the leather strap,
the glass or battery of normal wear. In the event of a claim under the
guarantee, send the watch together with a valid guarantee certifi cate,
to the authorized dealer from whom the watch was purchased.
