U heeft een verkeerd nummer gekozen of het nummer klopt niet.
• Kies het nummer opnieuw of controleer of u het juiste nummer heeft.
Het papier is wellicht op bij het faxapparaat van de andere partij.
• Neem contact op met de andere partij en vraag ze papier bij te vullen in
hun faxapparaat.
Er worden wellicht andere documenten vanuit het geheugen verzonden.
• Wacht tot het faxapparaat deze documenten heeft verzonden.
Wellicht is tijdens de verzending een storing opgetreden
• Druk een ACTIVITEITENRAPPORT af en controleer of er een foutcode
op vermeld staat (→ pag. 11-3).
De telefoonlijn functioneert wellicht niet goed.
• Zorg dat u een kiestoon hoort wanneer u op Haak drukt of wanneer u de
handset of de hoorn van een op de fax aangesloten telefoon opneemt.
Indien u geen kiestoon hoort, neem dan contact op met de PTT.
Wellicht is het andere faxapparaat geen G3 fax
• Controleer of het andere faxapparaat compatibel is met uw
FAX-L280/L200 (dit is een G3 fax).
Het sub-adres en/of password is niet juist.
• Indien u een sub-adres/password onder een snelkiestoets of verkortkiescode
heeft opgeslagen, zorg dan dat zij overeenkomen met de instellingen bij de
andere partij.
De via uw faxapparaat verzonden faxberichten vertonen
vlekken of strepen.
Wellicht functioneert het faxapparaat van de andere partij niet goed
• Controleer de fax door een kopie te maken (→ pag. 10-2). Als de kopie
schoon is, dan ligt het probleem wellicht bij het ontvangende faxapparaat.
Als de kopie vlekken of strepen vertoont, reinig dan de
scannercomponenten (→ pag. 12-5).
Het document is wellicht niet goed geplaatst.
• Zorg dat het document op de juiste manier in de ADF is geplaatst (→ pag.
4-3).
Er kan niet worden verzonden in de fout correctie mode
(ECM).
Wellicht ondersteunt het faxapparaat van de andere partij geen ECM.
• Verzendt het document in deze situatie zonder de ECM-functie.
De ECM-functie kan zijn uitgeschakeld.
• Zorg dat de ECM-functie op uw fax is ingeschakeld (→ ECM TX, pag.
14-6).
• Neem contact op met de andere partij om te controleren of de
ECM-functie op hun faxapparaat is ingeschakeld.
