Annuleren van polling ontvangst
Om polling ontvangst te annuleren, volgt u dezelfde procedure als voor het
annuleren van een ontvangst (→ pag. 8-11).
Polling verzending
Bij polling verzending bewaart uw fax een document in de polling bus, zodat
andere faxapparaten dit kunnen opvragen.
Polling verzending kan handig zijn in de volgende situaties:
❏ Een bedrijfsafdeling kan een document in de fax opslaan, zodat andere
afdelingen dit document naar wens kunnen opvragen.
❏ Wanneer u wilt dat de andere partij het document opvraagt bij uw fax
wanneer dat hen het beste uitkomt.
❏ Wanneer u wilt dat de andere partij de kosten voor de ontvangst van een
door u verzonden document voor hun rekening neemt.
Installeren van de polling bus
Deze paragraaf beschrijft hoe u de polling bus van de fax dient in te stellen,
zodat u een document kunt scannen dat door andere faxapparaten wordt
opgevraagd.
Alvorens de polling bus te installeren, dient u het volgende te lezen:
❏ U kunt een ITU-T standaard password voor de polling bus instellen om te
zorgen dat polling uitsluitend kan plaatsvinden door faxapparaten die de
beschikking hebben over dat specifieke password (zie de onderstaande
instructies). Neem contact op met de andere partij, zodat ze op de hoogte
zijn van uw password. Stel geen password in als het faxapparaat van de
andere partij geen password transacties ondersteunt.
❏ Uw fax kan worden ingesteld om het document in de polling bus te
bewaren tot het door één faxapparaat is opgevraagd of het kan worden
ingesteld om het document continu te bewaren zodat meerdere
faxapparaten het document kunnen opvragen (zie hieronder voor meer
informatie).
Volg deze procedure voor het instellen van de polling bus:
1 Open het snelkiespaneel.
2 Druk op Gegevensregistratie.
3 Druk op Instellen.
4 Gebruik . of . om POLLING BUS
te selecteren.
