Als u een lange pieptoon hoort of een stilte:

Iemand probeert u een faxbericht te
zenden. Druk op Start/Kopie op uw fax
en handset of de hoorn op om het
document te ontvangen.
❏ Indien u een telefoon gebruikt die
zich op afstand van de fax bevindt,
kies dan 25 (de standaard ID voor
RX op afstand) met uw telefoon
en hang op.
Hoort u een stem:

Begin het gesprek. Als de andere partij
na het gesprek een document wil
toezenden, vraag dan of de andere
partij op hun faxapparaat op de
starttoets wil drukken.
5 Als u een lange pieptoon hoort, druk
dan op Start/Kopie op uw fax en hang
de handset of de hoorn op om het
document te ontvangen.
❏ Indien u een telefoon gebruikt die
zich op afstand van de fax bevindt,
kies dan 25 (de standaard ID voor
RX op afstand) met uw telefoon
en hang op.
❏ Indien u de handset gebruikt, hang dan op nadat uopStart/Kopie op de
fax heeft gedrukt, anders verbreekt u de verbinding.
❏ De fax maakt u met een pieptoon erop attent dat de handset niet goed is
opgehangen. Zorg dat de handset correct in de houder is geplaatst. Als u
niet wilt dat de fax een pieptoon geeft, schakel de instelling HOORN VAN
HAAK dan uit (→ pag. 14-4).
❏ Indien u de ontvangst via de telefoon niet kunt activeren, controleer dan of
de instelling RX OP AFSTAND is ingeschakeld (→ pag. 14-7).
❏ U kunt de ID voor RX op afstand wijzigen (→ ID RX OP AFSTAND,
pag. 14-7) of de ontvangst op afstand uitschakelen (→ RX OP AFSTAND,
pag. 14-7).
❏ Indien u een antwoordapparaat op uw fax heeft aangesloten dat niet
geschikt is voor het uitvoeren van handelingen op afstand (controleren van
uw antwoordapparaat via een telefoon op afstand), dan kan de
veiligheidscode voor deze functie identiek zijn aan de ID voor RX op
afstand van uw fax. In deze situatie dient u de ID voor RX op afstand te
wijzigen om onderscheid te kunnen maken tussen deze ID en de
veiligheidscode van het antwoordapparaat (→ ID RX OP AFSTAND,
pag. 14-7).
