Il DVD85 dispone di connessioni video-composito (CVBS, composite), S-
Video (SVHS, Video S) e Component Video (YCbCr, Video componente). Il
DVD89 dispone inoltre di interfacce video digitali DVI-D e HDMI.
Collegamenti audio
Uscite digitali - Il DVD89 presenta pure un'uscita digitale ottica ed una
digitale coassiale. Tali uscite consentono l'invio della traccia sonora del
DVD ad un ricevitore AV opportunamente attrezzato per la decodifica e
l'amplificazione. Entrambe le uscite eseguono la stessa funzione: è
sufficiente scegliere il tipo più adeguato alle proprie esigenze.
Uscite analogiche - Entrambi gli apparecchi dispongono di un'uscita
CONNESSIONI PRESENTI SUL PANNELLO POSTERIORE
convenzionale RCA stereo (fono), che inoltra il segnale audio stereo ad
un amplificatore stereo convenzionale connesso. Vi è pure un'uscita a
sei canali decodificati, in formato Dolby Digital 5.1, che consente la
connessione ad un amplificatore adatto a 6 canali. I dischi di tipo SACD
e DVD-Audio inoltreranno i loro segnali unicamente tramite le uscite
analogiche 5.1. Vedere: "Un'introduzione al DVD-Audio", alla pagina 126.
Nota: Un disco codificato in DTS trasmetterà una colonna sonora in DTS
soltanto tramite le uscite digitali per una decodificazione esterna (DTS
passante).
Presa per alimentazione CA
Una volta completate tutte le connessioni all'amplificatore, innestare il
cordone d'alimentazione CA in un'appropriata presa di rete.
