Roll-off rapido

Entrambi i modelli 550C e 650C utilizzano il convertitore digitale-

analogico WM8740 di Wolfson Microelectronics. Il 550C utilizza un

convertitore digitale-analogico stereo, mentre il 650C utilizza due

convertitori digitali-analogici a differenziale doppio (cioè uno per canale,

in modalità bilanciata internamente). Questi componenti di altissima

qualità sono dotati di filtro digitale selezionabile con due impostazioni.

Il filtro a roll-off rapido evidenzia una netta attenuazione della distorsione

delle immagini all’esterno della banda passante (cioè oltre 22,05kHz) a

scapito di un lieve pre e post-transitorio oscillante nel dominio temporale.

Il filtro di roll-off lento fornisce un roll-off più lento e una minore

attenuazione della distorsione delle immagini a distanza ravvicinata con

un transitorio oscillante minore nel dominio temporale.

Non esiste una scelta “giusta” e invitiamo gli utenti a provare entrambi i

filtri e scegliere quello più gradevole all’orecchio. Si riportano di seguito
