Insert small, well-seasoned interwoven strips of wood and place the firelighters on top of
them (ignition module from above, fig. A)
Light and if necessary keep the door open for a few minutes
until the combustion chamber and flue start to heat up. Close
the door.

Topping up with wood
Load the hearth when there are embers in the combustion
chamber.
Open the ignition valve (3) and slowly open the hearth door.
Using the poker, break the burnt wood and form a bed of
embers.(fig. D).
Insert a log of wood weighing 2.2 kg in total at the centre of the
bed of embers and close the door (fig. E).
Close the ignition valve (3), close the regulator (1) and adjust
the combustion air regulator (2) (fig. F).

Switching off the appliance
When the fire is no longer alight and the bed of embers does not
radiate heat any more, close all the regulators (1) (2) (3) to
keep the heat inside the combustion chamber as long as
possible.
ATTENTION
Operating the stove in ways other than those indicated
in this guide will cause a non-optimal operation of the
appliance. Therefore the expected emission and yield
performance cannot be achieved.
