6. Tip the stroller back so it is resting on its handle and rear wheels to put the
front wheel on.
7. Remove the fork tip protectors.
8. Make sure the front brake release lever is pointed out, away from
the stroller.
9. Starting at the bottom of the brake pads, push the wheel up and in between
the brake pads.
10. Rotate the tire upwards. Find the flat sides on the round axle and slide all
the way to the back of the forks, on BOTH SIDES.
11. Set the quick release lever so it is straight out. While holding the lever,
tighten the thumb nut until it is snug. The axle should not move side to
side. Close the lever. With proper closing resistance the lever will leave an
imprint in your palm. When closed the lever should be flush with the fork.
12. Give the wheel a tug to make sure it is secure.
Make sure wheels are held
securely. You should not be
able to rock or shift wheels.
Improperly installed wheels
can fall off causing accident
and serious injury.
WARNING
13. Be sure to close the brake calipers by pushing the lever forward all the way.
Check to make sure the brake caliper is locked before each use.
IMPORTANT:
14. Make sure the seat straps, located on the bottom of the seat, are snapped
around the frame on both sides, by the basket.
Brakes
Your stroller comes with two parking brakes: a foot brake and a hand brake.
The hand brake, located on the handle, locks the front wheel. The foot brake is
located near the basket, on the rear axel. It locks the rear wheels.
You should always use both brakes when the stroller is not
being pushed.
IMPORTANT:
To lock the hand brake, pull the lever in and hold it while you push the button
down. As you hold the button, release the brake lever.
To release the hand brake, pull the lever in until the button pops up.
To lock the foot brake, simply push it down with your foot. Try to push the
stroller to make sure the brake is secure.
