INsTAllATION ANd sTARTINg uP
After removing the thermal carafe from its packaging, make sure that it is in perfect condition and make
sure that no kind of matter, packaging material, warranty sheets or anything else has accidentally fallen
inside the glass liner during the transport or opening the packaging. The plastic bag in which the thermal
carafe is packaged should be kept off from children as poses to suffocation hazard. In
order to remove dust that may have accumulated on the surface, simply dust it off with
a dry soft cloth.
a) Before using the thermal carafe for the rst time, make sure that the bottom screw
is tight. Simply use a coin to tighten this screw by turning it clockwise. Check the
screw from time to time to ensure that the seal between the glass liner and the spout
remains tight.

b) Easily turn anti-clockwise the stopper in order to open
the top part of the thermal carafe. This allows you to ll
the carafe with beverage.
c) Carefully rinse out the thermal carafe with warm water
before using it for the rst time or after long periods of
non-use to remove any residual odours.
d) Before lling the thermal carafe with the beverage we
suggest to ll it with hot water and leave it full for three
minutes if the drink has to be kept warm or leave it full
of cold water for three minutes if the drink has to be kept
cold. Due this in order to obtain a better performance
and prevent the breakage of the glass liner.
e) After lling put the stopper in place and turn it
clockwise till it is tight against the thermal carafe
opening: make sure that the “nose” of the stopper is
perfectly aligned with the handle.
f) The maximum beverage level inside the carafe must
not be more than 3 cm below the top edge of the opening
hole. There must be sufcient space in the neck to t the
stopper. ATTENTION: lling the carafe with hot beverage
from, e.g. the kettle, can injury from burns. BE CAREFUL.
