Plaatsen van de Acoustimass
®
Module
De Acoustimass Module kan bijna overal in een kamer worden verborgen. Laat minstens
5 cm ruimte tussen de opening (poort) en de wand. Om storing te voorkomen, houdt u de
module minstens 0,6 m van een videoscherm vandaan.
Voor een evenwichtig geluid plaatst u de module in de meeste kamers tegen een muur aan
en maximaal 1,5 m van de hoek vandaan. Voor diepere lage tonen plaats u de module dichter
bij de hoek zonder de opening te blokkeren. Om de lage tonen te dempen, plaatst u de
module verder van de hoek af.
Opmerking:
Als u eenmaal hebt besloten hoe u de module wilt plaatsen, bevestigt u de
rubbervoetjes aan de onderkant om de module en de vloer te beschermen.

Juist gebruik van de kabels
Gebruik de bijgeleverde kabels om de kubusluidsprekers op de module aan te sluiten en de
module op uw versterker of ontvanger.
LET OP!
Zorg dat alle apparaten uit zijn en dat de stekker uit het stopcontact getrokken
wordt voordat u begint met het aansluiten.
Om de apparaten meer dan 6,2 m van elkaar vandaan te plaatsen, dient u luidsprekerkabel
van 0,75 mm
2
met de kabel samen te splitsen. Als u ze meer dan 9,2 m van elkaar vandaan
wilt plaatsen, hebt u een dikkere kabel nodig. (Zie de aanbevelingen hiervoor op pagina 10.)
Extra kabel is te koop bij elektronicazaken. U kunt ook de Consumentenservice van Bose
bellen. (Zie de lijst met telefoonnummers aan de binnenkant van de achteromslag.)
Luidsprekerkabels bestaan uit twee geïsoleerde draden. De isolatie rond een van de draden is
gemarkeerd door een band of streep. Deze gemarkeerde draad is altijd positief (+). De
ongemarkeerde draad is altijd negatief (–). Deze draden komen overeen met de rode (+) en
zwarte (–) aansluitcontacten op de achterkant van de luidspreker, versterker of ontvanger.
Zorg dat elke draad op het juiste aansluitcontact wordt aangesloten (positief op positief,
negatief op negatief).
