Regular descaling

– prolongs the service life of the appliance,

– ensures that the kettle functions properly,

– reduces the boiling time,

– saves energy.

Descale the kettle with vinegar or a commer-

cially available descaling agent.

z Fill the kettle up to the MAX mark with water

and bring to the boil. Then add approx. 1 cup

of household vinegar and leave to react for

several hours.

z Or use descaling agent according to the

manufacturer’s instructions, never bring

to the boil.

z Then rinse the jug with plain water.

Attention: Never remove calcification residue

with hard implements, otherwise the seal will

be damaged.

This appliance has been identified

in accordance with the European

directive 2002/96/EG on Waste

Electrical and Electronic Equipment –

WEEE. The Directive paves the way

for effective EU-wide withdrawal and

utilization of waste appliances.

Please ask your dealer or inquire at your local

du type WK10.

Ne faites chauffer que de l'eau, jamais de soupe

(elle laisserait un goût de gras et pourrait

déborder) ni de lait (il brûlerait ou déborderait).

Des boissons comme le thé ou le café modifient

la teinte de la verseuse.
