8. Als het apparaat geruime tijd niet gebruikt wordt moet u de
elektrische stroomtoevoer en de hoofdschakelaar uitschakelenn.
9. Dek de luchtgaten of de warmteverspreidingsopeningen niet af.
10. Als het snoer beschadigd is, moet hij worden vervangen
door de fabrikant of zijn servicedienst of een gelijkwaardig
gekwalifi ceerd persoon om elk risico te vermijden.
11. Het apparaat mag uitsluitend voor de doeleinden gebruikt
worden waarvoor het apparaat bestemd is. Het apparaat is
niet geschikt om voor andere doeleinden gebruikt te worden
(bijvoorbeeld om een vertrek te verwarmen) en dit is bovendien
gevaarlijk. De fabrikant kan op geen enkele wijze aansprakelijk
gesteld worden voor schade die veroorzaakt is doordat het
apparaat voor doeleinden is gebruikt waarvoor het niet geschikt is.
12. Het gebruik van alle elektrische apparaten vereist het in
acht nemen van enkele fundamentele voorschriften, te weten:
A. Raak het apparaat nooit aan als u natte of vochtige
handen of voeten heeft.
B. Gebruik het apparaat nooit op blote voeten.
C. Gebruik bij voorkeur geen verlengsnoeren, als u dit toch
doet moet u de nodige voorzorgsmaatregelen treffen.
D. Trek niet aan het elektrische snoer om de stekker uit het
stopcontact te halen.
E. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan weersinvloeden (regen,
zon, etc.).
F. Laat het apparaat niet zonder toezicht door kinderen of
door onbevoegden gebruiken.
13. Alvorens het apparaat schoon te maken of
onderhoudswerkzaamheden te verrichten moet u de
stroomtoevoer naar het apparaat uitschakelen, de stekker eruit
trekken of de elektrische stroomtoevoer onderbreken met behulp
van de spe cia le schakelaar.
14. Als er storingen in de werking optreden of als het apparaat
niet goed functioneert, moet u het apparaat uitzetten, de
gaskraan dichtdraaien en niet zelf aan het apparaat gaan
sleutelen. Eventuele reparaties mogen uitsluitend door een
erkende technische dienst uitgevoerd worden. Verlang altijd
originele reserveonderdelen. Als deze aanwijzingen niet in
acht genomen worden kunt u de veiligheid van het apparaat
in gevaar brengen.
15. Als u besluit het apparaat niet meer te gebruiken moet

B. nunca utilize o aparelho com os pés descalços
C. evite utilizar extensões e, se for necessário, tome
todas as precauções possíveis
D. para retirar a fi cha da tomada de corrente, não puxe
pelo cabo
E. não exponha o aparelho a agentes atmosféricos
(chuva, sol, etc.)
F. não permita a utilização do aparelho a crianças ou a
pessoas que não estejam em condições de o fazer,
sem o devido controlo
13. Antes de limpar o aparelho ou de efectuar a manutenção,
desligue o aparelho retirando a ficha da tomada ou
in ter rom pen do a corrente através do interruptor especial.
14. Em caso de avaria ou de mau funcionamento, desligue
o aparelho e não tente alguma reparação que só pode
ser efectuada por um centro de assistência autorizado.
Exija sempre peças de origem. O não cumprimento destas
indicações pode comprometer a segurança do aparelho.
15. Se decidir não usaar mais o aparelho, é necessário
inutilizá-lo, retirando a fi cha da tomada ou eliminando
o cabo de alimentação. Recomenda-se vivamente a
inutilizar também as partes que podem constituir um
perigo, sobretudo se houver crianças que podem usar
o aparelho para brincar.
