Bediening
1. Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke ondergrond.
2. Open de waterkoker door op de toets in het deksel te drukken. Vul de waterko-
ker met water. U kunt de vulstand aflezen aan de peilglazen aan beide zijden
van het apparaat. U mag het apparaat niet te vol maken.
3. Sluit het deksel
4. Plaats de waterkoker goed sluitend op de basis.
Elektrische aansluiting
1. Controleer of de netspanning die u wilt gebruiken ook overeenkomt met de
spanning die op het apparaat vermeld staat. Zie daartoe het typeplaatje onder
op het apparaat.
2. Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleerd
230 V, 50 Hz geaard stopcontact.
3. Schakel het apparaat in met de schakelaar aan de handgreep. De controlelamp
brandt.

Na het koken schakelt het apparaat automatisch uit. Onderbreek nu de stroomtoe-
voer. Houd het deksel gesloten bij het uitgieten van het water. Verbrandingsgevaar!
Reiniging
• Trek vóór de reiniging altijd eerst de steker uit de contactdoos!
• De buitenkant van het apparaat kunt u indien nodig het beste reinigen met een
iets vochtige doek - zonder schoonmaakmiddelen.
• Voor de reiniging kunt u de kalkfilter naar boven uit het apparaat trekken. U kunt
de filter nu onder stromend water reinigen van alle kalkresten.
Ontkalking
De intervallen tussen de ontkalkingen zijn afhankelijk van de hardheidsgraad van
het water en van de gebruiksfrequentie. Ontkalk het apparaat echter minstens een-
maal per 3 - 4 maanden. Schakelt het apparaat uit, voordat het water kookt, dan is
het noodzakelijk het apparaat eerder te ontkalken.
Gebruik a.u.b. geen azijn, maar een in de handel gebruikelijk ntkalkingsmiddel op
citroenzuurbasis. Doseer a.u.b. conform de gebruiksaanwijzing.
Dit apparaat is in overeenstemming met de CE-richtlijnen t.a.v. ontstoring en lage
volt-veiligheid en is geconstrueerd conform de allerlaatste veiligheidstechnische
voorschriften.
