ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
(See Fig. 5, 6)
1.Assemble BaseHalveswith cord running
through the middleslot, by slidingthem
together, aligning the4 male partswith the
4 female partsas seen inFig. 5.
2.Secureassembled base to the fanhousing(F)
with4 securingscrews (G)as seen in Fig. 5.
3. Secure powercord (H) tothebottom of the
unit as seenin Fig. 6.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Remote Control: RemoteControl requires 2AAA
batteriesforoperation(no batteriesincluded).

Press = on (lighton) off (no light)
B.Speed Settings
Press = 1 lowspeed, 2 mediumspeed,
3 high speed
C.Oscillation Control
Press = on (lighton) off (no light)
D.Breeze Mode
Press with blue light= Breeze Mode:
randomly cycles throughthe speed settingsto
simulate a naturalbreeze
Press with amber light= Sleep Mode:
cycles through thespeed settings inorder
Press nolight= off
E.Timer Control
Press = light on1, 2, 4or 8 =hoursunit
will shut-off automatically.
No light =no timer andunit stays onuntilyou
turn unit off with the

Always unplug thefan before cleaningor
assembly.
Do not allowwater to dripon or intothefan
motor housing.
Be sure touse a softcloth, moistened witha
mild soap solution.

petrol, thinners orbenzene.
FAN STORAGE
Yourfan can bestored either partially
disassembled or assembled.
It is importantto keep itin a safe,drylocation.
If stored disassembled,we recommend using
the original (orappropriately sized) box.
If stored assembledor partially assembled,
remember to protectthe fan headfrom dust.
FOR U.K. AND IRELAND ONLY
If the plugis not suitablefor the socketoutletsin
your home, itcan be removedand replaced bya
plugofthecorrecttype. Pleaserefer to
"Installationofaplug" below.
Installation of a plug applicable to U.K.
and Ireland
NOTE: If the terminalsin the plug are not
markedorifyouareunsureorindoubtaboutthe
installationof the plugplease contact aqualified
electrician.
If a 13A3-pin plug is fitted, it must be anASTA
approved plug, conformingtoBS1363standard.
Replacement 3Afuses must be BSI or
ASTABS1362approved.
Thisproduct is fittedwitha 13Aplug complying to
BS1363. If this plug is unsuitableorneedstobe
replaced, please note the following:The wires in
the mainsleadarecoloured as such:
BROWN - LIVE
BLUE - NEUTRAL
Please note that the colour of these mains wires
may not correspond with the colour markings that
identify the terminals in your plug. Please proceed
as follows:
The BROWN coloured wire must be connected to
the terminal, which is marked with the letter "L"
or is coloured RED.
The BLUE coloured wire must be connected to the
terminal, which is marked with the letter "N" or is
coloured BLACK.
DONOTCONNECTeither ofthesewirestothe
earthterminal intheplug.Theearthterminalplug
ismarkedwiththeletter "E", orwiththeearth
symbol ,orcolouredGREEN,orGREEN
