3. Slide the fan blade, with the hollowed interior
of the fan blade facing toward the rear grill,
firmly onto the motor shaft, making sure the
two notches fit over the pin.
4. Open the grill locking nut on the guard loop.
Place the guard loop on the rear grill with the
locking nut at the bottom. Assemble the front
grill on the guard loop until all sides snap.
Rotate the front grill until the Bionaire
TM
logo
is horizontal and parallel to the floor. Fasten
the grill locking nut and ensure the front and
rear grills are snapped securely in position.
Final Assembly (See Figure 1)
1. Insert the fan head assembly into the pole/
base assembly until tight. Turn the pole
locking nut clockwise to secure.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (See
Figure 2)
1. Set fan on a dry, level surface.
2. Plug power cord into the appropriate outlet.
3. To turn the fan on, turn the variable speed
dial (O) clockwise to your desired speed. The
speed may be regulated to your desired
speed by turning the dial in either direction.
To turn the fan off, turn the variable speed
dial all the way to the left until reaching the
Off “O” position.
4. To oscillate the fan head, press the
oscillation button (N) above the variable
speed dial. To stop the oscillation, press the
button again.
ADJUSTMENT
Height Adjustment
This fan is equipped with an expandable pole,
which allows you to adjust the height of the fan
according to your preference.
Tilt Adjustment
To change the tilting angle of the fan head, move
the fan head manually to the desired angle.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Follow these instructions to correctly and safely
care for your Bionaire
TM
fan. Please remember:-
• Always unplug the fan before cleaning or
assembly.
• Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan
motor housing.
• Be sure to use a soft cloth, moistened with a
mild soap solution.
• Do not use any of the following as a cleaner:
petrol, thinners or benzene.
Fan Blade cleaning
(See instructions for fan head assembly)
1. Carefully remove the front grill from the
guard loop.
2. Clean the fan blade, front and rear grills with
a soft moist cloth.
3. Replace the fan blade, tighten blade lock nut
and securely fasten the front grill with the grill
locking nut.
Fan head, base and pole cleaning
Using a soft, moist cloth, with or without a mild
soap solution, carefully clean the fan base, pole
and head. Please use caution around the motor
housing area. Do not allow the motor or other
electrical components to be exposed to water.
FAN STORAGE
Your fan can be stored either partially
disassembled or assembled.
It is important to keep it in a safe, dry location.
• If stored disassembled, we recommend using
the original (or appropriately sized) box.
• If stored assembled or partially assembled,
remember to protect the fan head from dust.

CONJUNTO PÉ E COLUNA (Veja figura 1)
1. Puxe a coluna superior por cima da coluna
inferior e prenda-a firmemente girando o
botão de ajuste de altura.
2. Coloque a ponta inferior da coluna de baixo
dentro do buraco localizado na parte de cima
do pé.
3. Insira a alavanca de bloqueio em L no fundo
da base e da haste inferior. Rode a alavanca
de bloqueio em L no sentido horário e
aperte-a para fixar devidamente a haste na
base.
CONJUNTO CABEÇA DO VENTILADOR
(Veja figura 1)
Agora você está pronto para montar a cabeça
do ventilador.
1. Posicione a grelha traseira sobre o veio do
motor, certificando-se de que os entalhes no
topo e fundo da grelha traseira encaixam
sobre os entalhes salientes no invólucro do
motor. Certifique-se de que a grade traseira
se encaixa com segurança na caixa do motor
2. Prenda a grade de trás no lugar correto com
a porca da grade trás. Gire a porca na
direção horária e aperte-a fortemente.
3. Deslize a lâmina da ventoinha, com o interior
oco da lâmina da ventoinha virada em
direcção à grelha traseira, firmemente sobre o
veio do motor, certificando-se de que os dois
entalhes se encaixam sobre o pino.
4. Abra a porca de bloqueio da grelha no nó da
protecção. Coloque o nó da protecção sobre
a grelha traseira, tendo a porca de bloqueio
no fundo. Instale a grelha dianteira no nó de
protecção até todos os lados encaixarem.
Rode a grelha dianteira até o logótipo

ficar horizontal e paralelo em
relação ao chão. Fixe a porca de bloqueio da
grelha e certifique-se de que as grelhas
traseira e dianteira se encontram firmemente
instaladas na devida posição.
Conjunto Final (Veja figura 1)
1. Insira o conjunto da cabeça da ventoinha no
conjunto da haste/base até estar apertado.
Rode a porca de bloqueio da haste no
sentido horário para fixar.
INSTRUÇÕES DE OPERAÇÃO (Veja
figura 2)
1. Coloque o ventilador em uma superfície
plana e seca.
2. Ligue o fio em uma tomada apropriada.
3. Para ligar a ventoinha, rode o botão de
velocidade variável (O) no sentido horário
para a definição desejada. Pode regular a
velocidade para a sua velocidade desejada,
rodando o botão em qualquer direcção. Para
desligar a ventoinha, rode o botão da
velocidade variável completamente para a
esquerda até alcançar a posição desligado
(“O”).
4. Para oscilar a cabeça da ventoinha, prima o
botão de oscilação (N) acima do botão de
velocidade variável. Para parar a oscilação,
carregue novamente no botão.
AJUSTE
Ajuste de Altura
Este ventilador está equipado com uma coluna
ajustável, que permite a você ajustar a altura do
ventilador de acordo com a sua preferência
Ajuste de Rotação
Para mudar o ângulo de rotação da cabeça do
ventilador, mova a cabeça do ventilador
manualmente até o ângulo desejado.
