Voor het eerste gebruik
1. Haal de stoomkoker uit de verpakking en verwijder alle verpakkingsonderdelen.
2. Reinig de stoombakjes, de deksels, het scheidingswandje en het rijsbakje (zie
‘Reiniging en onderhoud’).
Gebruik
Voorbereiden
1. Plaats het apparaat op een vlak en stabiel werkvlak.
2. Vul het waterreservoir met water. Het waterniveau moet tussen de ‘MIN’- en
‘MAX’-aanduidingen zitten. Gebruik alleen water zonder toevoegingen zoals zout,
bouillon etc.
3. Plaats de deksel op het waterreservoir.
4. Vul de stoombakjes met het te bereiden voedsel. Hoeveel stoombakjes u nodig
heeft en welke opstelling u gebruikt hangt af van de maaltijd die u gaat bereiden.
Zie figuur 2 voor enkele voorbeelden.
5. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

Tips
• Leg het product dat de langste bereidingstijd vergt in het onderste stoombakje.
• Speciaal voor het stomen van eieren zijn de uitneembare bodems voorzien van
kuiltjes.
Stoomtijd instellen
De in te stellen stoomtijd is minimaal 1 minuut en maximaal 1 uur.
1. Schakel het apparaat in door op de aan/uit-schakelaar te drukken. Op het display
verschijnt nu de instelde stoomtijd.
2. Druk op de knop ‘SET’. Op het display knippert nu de tekst ‘STEAMER’. De
standaard stoomtijd is 00:20 (20 minuten) en deze kan worden aangepast via de
instelknoppen.
3. Stel met de instelknoppen ‘HR.’ (uren) en ‘MIN.’ (minuten) de gewenste stoomtijd
in. Als u per ongeluk een te lange stoomtijd heeft ingesteld, houdt dan de
instelknop wat langer ingedrukt; na korte tijd begint de telling weer bij nul.
4. Laat de instelknop los zodra de gewenste tijd is ingesteld. Na enkele seconden
stopt het knipperen en kleurt het controlelampje rood. Dit betekent dat het
verwarmingselement is ingeschakeld.
