BOTTOM HEATING + FAN
To finish cooking food with a very liquid
consistency and to obtain crisp, golden bases. Also
useful for thickening sauces.
BOTTOM HEATING
Use this function after cooking to brown the
bottom of the dish. The function can also be used for
slow cooking, such as vegetables and meat stews.
OFF
For switching off the oven.
LIGHT
For switching the oven light on/off
CONVENTIONAL
For cooking any kind of dish on one shelf only.
CONVECTION BAKE
For cooking meat and pies with liquid filling
(savoury or sweet) on a single shelf, and pizzas on
one or two shelves. This function delivers an even,
golden, crisp top and base. When cooking on two
levels, switch the position of the dishes halfway
through cooking to cook food more evenly.
GRILL
For grilling steaks, kebabs and sausages,
cooking vegetables au gratin or toasting bread.
When grilling meat, we recommend using a tray to
collect the cooking juices: Position the tray on the
level below the wire shelf and add 500 ml of drinking
water.
TURBO GRILL
For roasting large joints of meat (legs, roast
beef, chicken). We recommend using a tray to collect
the cooking juices: Position the tray on the level
below the wire shelf and add 500 ml of drinking
water. The turnspit (if provided) can be used with
this function.
DEFROSTING
To speed up defrosting of food.
TURBOFAN
For food with a crisp base and soft top.
Ideal for cooking cakes with liquid filling and no
precooked base (e.g. tarts, plum cakes, ricotta
cakes as well as pizzas with abundant topping) on
a single shelf. This function is also ideal for frozen
convenience foods (e.g. pizzas, chips, strudel,
lasagna).
FORCED AIR
For cooking a variety of food requiring the
same temperature on two shelves at the same time
(e.g. fish, vegetables, cakes). This function can be
used to cook different foods without odours being
transferred from one food to another.
