Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das Produkt ist zum Anschluss an einen USB-Port eines Computers vorgesehen und dient dort zum

Digitalisieren eines analogen AV-Signals (FBAS-/SVideo-Signal und Stereo-Audiosignal).

Dieses Produkt erfüllt die gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen. Alle enthaltenen

Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen Inhaber. Alle Rechte vorbe-

halten.

geringer Höhe wird es beschädigt.

Anschluss, Treiber-/Software-Installation

• Starten Sie das Betriebssystem (Windows XP oder höher) und warten Sie, bis es vollständig geladen ist.

• Schließen Sie zuerst den Video-Grabber an einen freien USB2.0-Port des Computers an. Windows er-

kennt daraufhin neue Hardware.

• Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein.

Sollte das Installationsprogramm nicht automatisch starten, so führen Sie es manuell aus. Zum Zeitpunkt

der Erstellung dieser Bedienungsanleitung war dazu das Programm „Hautorun.exe“ im Verzeichnis „Au-

torun“ der CD zu starten. Anschließend ist der Treiber zu installieren („Install Driver“ anklicken).

• Installieren Sie jetzt die auf der CD mitgelieferte Software, mit der Videosignale digitalisiert werden kön-

nen. Klicken Sie im Installationsprogramm auf „Install Video Studio“. Folgen Sie allen Anweisungen der

Software. Die zur Installation benötigte Seriennummer steht auf der Papierhülle der CD. Während der

Installation erscheint ein Fenster, bei dem Sie Ihr TV-System einstellen müssen. Wählen Sie Ihr Land und

das entsprechende Videosystem (PAL/SECAM bzw. NTSC) aus.

• Schließen Sie eine AV-Quelle z.B. an den 3 Cinch-Buchsen an (die gelbe ist für das Videosignal, die

anderen beiden für das Audiosignal). Alternativ kann der SVideo-Anschluss für das Videosignal und die

rote/weiße Cinch-Buchse für das Audiosignal verwendet werden.

Tipps und Hinweise

• Verwenden Sie unbedingt einen USB2.0-Port, andernfalls gibt es Aussetzer und Ruckler bei der Videoauf-

zeichnung.

• Sollte der benötigte Treiber nicht korrekt installiert werden, so schließen Sie den Video-Grabber unbedingt

zuerst an den Computer an und starten Sie die Treiberinstallation erneut. Führen Sie ggf. anschließend

einen Neustart von Windows durch.

Entsorgung

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen

Bestimmungen.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modication of the product is not permitted for safety and

approval reasons (CE). Do not open/disassemble!

• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.

• The product must not get damp or wet.

• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a dangerous

plaything for children.

• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even

from a low height.

Connection, Driver/Software Installation

• Boot your operating system (Windows XP or higher) and wait until the boot has nished.

• First connect the video grabber to a free USB2.0 port of the computer. Windows then recognises new

hardware.

• Place the enclosed CD into an appropriate drive on your computer.

If the installation software does not start automatically, you must start the installation programme manually.

At the time of preparation of these operating instructions, the programme “Hautorun.exe” had to be started

in the directory “Autorun” of the CD. Then, the driver must be installed (click on “Install Driver”).

• Now install the software provided on the CD for digitising video signals. In the installation programme, click

on “Install Video Studio.” Follow the programme’s instructions. The serial number required for installation

can be found on the paper case of the CD. During the installation, a window appears in which you need to

set your TV system. Select your country and the corresponding video system (PAL/SECAM or NTSC).

• Connect an AV source to the 3 RCA jacks (yellow for the video signal, the two others for the audio signal).

Alternatively, the SVideo connection can be used for the video signal and the red/white RCA jack connec-

tors for the audio signal.

Tips and Notes

• It is necessary to use an USB 2.0 port to prevent interruptions and juddering during the video recording.

• Should the necessary drivers not be correctly installed, it is imperative that you rst connect the video

grabber to your computer and start the driver installation again. Then, if necessary, restart Windows.

Disposal

Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory regulations!
