Het apparaat schakelt u uit door de stekker van het netsnoer uit het stopcontact te trekken. U moet de
stekker gemakkelijk in en uit het stopcontact kunnen halen zonder ergens door te worden belemmerd.
Als u het apparaat volledig wilt loskoppelen van de netvoeding, moet u de stekker van het netsnoer
volledig uit het stopcontact trekken.
STROOMBRONNEN
Controleer eerst of de stroomsterkte van dit apparaat overeenkomt met de stroomsterkte van het
stopcontact voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.
ONDERZIJDE VAN APPARAAT: batterijcompartiment voor batterij van 9 volt (6F22/6LR61) (niet
meegeleverd) voor tijdelijke tijdweergave tijdens stroomuitval.
BATTERIJNOODSYSTEEM

Sluit een batterij van 9 volt (6F22/6LR61) (niet meegeleverd) aan op de contactpunten in het
batterijcompartiment. U kunt het beste de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact trekken voordat
u de batterij plaatst. Het apparaat werkt nu op de normale wijze via de netvoeding, maar met het
voordeel dat uw klok blijft werken als de stroom uitvalt. De klokweergave gaat niet branden omdat de
kloktijd in het klokgeheugen wordt bijgehouden door het batterijnoodsysteem. Zodoende kunt u het
apparaat verplaatsen zonder dat u elke keer de klok opnieuw hoeft in te stellen. Het
batterijnoodsysteem is alleen bedoeld voor een korte stroomuitval. Bij langere perioden kan de batterij
leeg raken of wordt de tijdweergave mogelijk minder nauwkeurig. Als de batterij leeg is, moet u deze uit
het apparaat halen om lekkage te voorkomen. Als u geen gebruik wilt maken van het
batterijnoodsysteem, werkt het apparaat zonder batterij normaal. Als u de stekker van het apparaat
echter uit het stopcontact trekt, knipperen de klokcijfers nadat u het apparaat weer hebt aangesloten en
