Toutes interventions à l’intérieur de l’appareil doivent être effec-
tuées par un professionnel qualié.
Pour toute intervention, il est impératif que l’appareil soit mis en
hors tension et refroidi avant décrochage de son support.
ENTRETIEN
Pour conserver les performances de l’appareil il est nécessaire environ
deux fois par an d’effectuer à l’aide d’un aspirateur ou d’une brosse le
dépoussiérage des grilles inférieure et supérieure de l’appareil. Tous les
cinq ans faire vérier l’intérieur de l’appareil par un professionnel.
En ambiance polluée, des salissures peuvent apparaître sur la grille de
l’appareil. Ce phénomène est lié à la mauvaise qualité de l’air ambiant. Il est
conseillé, dans ce cas, de vérier la bonne aération de la pièce (ventilation,
entrée d’air, etc...) et la propreté de l’air. Ces salissures ne justient pas le
remplacement sous garantie de l’appareil.
La carrosserie de l’appareil peut être nettoyée avec un chiffon humide, ne
jamais utiliser de produits abrasif.
EN CAS DE PROBLEME
L’appareil ne chauffe pas : S’assurer que les disjoncteurs de l’installation
sont enclenchés, ou bien que le délesteur (si vous en avez un) n’a pas
coupé le chauffage. Vérier la température de l’air de la pièce.
L’appareil chauffe tout le temps : vérier que l'appareil n’est pas situé dans
un courant d’air ou que le réglage de la température n’a pas été modié.

- La durée de garantie est de 2 ans à compter de la date d’installation ou d’achat et ne saurait excéder 30 mois à partir de la date de fabrication en l’absence de
justicatif.
- La garantie couvre l’échange ou la fourniture des pièces reconnues défectueuses à l’exclusion de tout dommage et intérêts.
- Les frais de main d’œuvre, de déplacement et de transport sont à la charge de l’usager.
- Les détériorations provenant d’une installation non conforme, d’un réseau d’alimentation ne respectant pas la norme NF EN 50160, d’un usage anormal ou du non
respect des prescriptions de la dite notice ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie.
- Présenter le présent certicat uniquement en cas de réclamation auprès du distributeur ou de votre installateur, en y joignant votre facture d’achat.
- Les dispositions des présentes conditions de garantie ne sont pas exclusives du bénéce au prot de l’acheteur, de la garantie légale pour défauts et vices cachés qui
s’appliquent en tout état de cause dans les conditions des articles 1641 et suivants du code civil.

The product you have just purchased has undergone numerous tests and inspections to guarantee the highest quality. We hope it will give you entire
satisfaction.
INSTALLATION OF THE PANEL HEATER
Please read the instructions before starting to install the heater. Disconnect
the power before carrying out any work on the heater. Keep these
instructions even once you have installed your heater.
1) Where to install your heater ?
- This equipment was designed to be installed in a residence. Please ask your
distributor before using it for any other purpose.

The panel heater should be installed according to normal trade practice and in
compliance with legislation in the relevant country (the IEE Wiring Regulations).
- The equipment is class 2 and is protected against splashed water IP
24. The device is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot
be touched by a person in the bath or shower, except in the UK where IEE
Regulations 701.512.2 and 701.512.3 apply. These allow the use of IP24
rated products and their integral controls in Zone 2 and outside zones.

- Comply with the minimum clearance distances for positioning of the panel
heater.

- If your wall covering is laid on foam, a spacer the same thickness as the
foam must be placed under the panel heater’s support. This ensures there is
free space behind the panel heater to make sure its control settings are not
adversely affected.
- Do not install the panel heater:
c In a draught that might affect adjustment (for example, under a
central mechanical ventilation unit etc...).
c Under a xed mains power socket.
c In zone 1 of bathrooms a.
It is forbiden to install vertical product in horizontal position.
2) How to install the panel heater ?
2-1) Release the appliance’s hook-on bracket
We recommend that you place the radiant panel at, face down.
Have a straight head screwdriver to hand.
2-2) Fix the hook-on bracket
Use the wall-mounting bracket as a template for positioning the heater.

2-3) Connecting the panel heater
- The appliance should have a 230-240V 50Hz power supply.
- The panel heater must be connected to the mains, either by a 2-wire cable
(Brown = Phase, Blue = Neutral) via a power socket (Product with plug :
diagram A) or connexion box (Mechanical thermostat : diagram B) ; by a
3-wire cable (Brown= Phase, Blue = Neutral, Black = Pilot wire) by means of
a connexion box (version with pilote wire : diagram C).
In humid areas such as bathrooms and kitchens the power socket must be
installed at least 25 cm above the oor.
- The installation should be tted with a double pole break device with a break
of at least 3 mm.
- Connection to earth is prohibited. Do not connect the pilot wire
(black) to earth.
- The heater must be installed by a qualied electrician in accordance with
the local regulations. The heater and the pilot wire (black) must NOT be
connected to earth. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its after-sales service Department or a similary qualied
person to avoid any risk.
If a pilot or piloted panel heater is protected by 30mA differential (e.g.
bathroom) the pilot wire’s power must be protected on this differential

2) Fixing the comfort temperature
The comfort temperature is the temperature that you would like while the
room is occupied.
a) Put the 1 switch to I.
b) Set the 2 control knob.
c) Wait a few hours for the temperature to stabilise.
d) If the setting is satisfactory (if necessary use a thermometer to check),
mark the position for future use.
e) If the setting is not satisfactory, adjust it and start again from point c.
3) Frost-Free mode MIN
This mode is used to keep the temperature at approximately 7°C in the room
when you are absent from the house for a prolonged period (i.e. more than
24 hours).
a) Leave the 1 switch on I, set the 2 control knob to MIN.
Nota : When switching n°1 (on the picture) is set on Programming system
(Clock symbol) with the PassProgram On/Off, please refer to paragraph n°8.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
- There is no point in setting maximum heating, the room temperature will
not rise any quicker.
- When you air the room, disconnect the panel heater by putting the 1
switch to 0.
- If you leave for several hours, remember to reduce the temperature.
Absence for :
less than 2 hours, do not touch the controls.
2 to 24 hours, lower the 2 control knob by two graduations.
more than 24 hours or in the summer, put the 2 control knob to MIN.
- If you have several units in a room, let them operate simultaneously.
This will give you a more uniform temperature without increasing electricity
consumption.
