Room temperature can be regulated by rotating the thermostat clockwise to increase or anticlockwise to
decrease temperature.
When turning the panel on, we recommend turning the thermostat knob to maximum: then, when a pleasant room
temperature has been obtained, turn the thermostat dial anticlockwise until the light of the active switch goes out. This
way the panel will maintain that room temperature constant.
Only for HI FLOOR DESIGN PLUS, please check the timer switch state: if it is on O, the convector can’t start
operating; if it is on
the starting time depends on timer setting. If it is on I, the convector can be activated
through thermostat and power level selection.
To turn the convector off completely turn the mode selector back to 0 and then rotate the thermostat dial anticlockwise
until it clicks off. Unplug the appliance if it will not be used for a while.
OPERATING TIMER (HI FLOOR DESIGN PLUS model)
The model HI FAN DESIGN PLUS is also equipped with 24 hours timer, which has 96 segments, each of which
corresponds to 15 minutes of time and allows the lighting and working programming of during the 24 hours.
OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE
In the event of overheating, an additional fitted safety thermostat protects the heater against overheating and switches it
off automatically.
If the device switches itself off, disconnect the main plug from the socket.
The heater is ready for use after a short cooling-off phase (approx. 15 minutes). Plug the mains back into the socket.
If this repeats, first check that the thermostat switch is set correctly or if an object hinders the heating operation.
HOW TO CLEAN THE CONVECTOR
Always unplug and leave the convector to cool before cleaning.
Use a damp cloth to clean the convector exterior and remove dust. Leave the casing to dry before using the convector
again.
Do not allow water to enter the convector.
Do not use benzene, solvents or abrasive compounds to clean the convector, as these may damage the casing.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the air inlet/outlet grilles.
Ensure that the convector is dry before inserting the plug.
Do not use metal tools to clean the convector. Any metal fragments that may detach may come into contact with the
panel’s electrical components and cause a short-circuit.
In the event of malfunctions or damages, always contact an authorised service centre.
STORING THE CONVECTOR
If the convector is not used for prolonged periods, it must be stored together with this manual in its original packaging, in
a cool and dry place. Never put the appliance away when still hot. Always wait for it to cool down.
Red switch on I - ON:
The convector works
continuously, depending
only on thermostat
regulation.
Red switch on - OFF:
The convector doesn’t work
or stop working.
Red switch on - Timer ON:
It allows you to program the convector on and off timing.
Place the outer ring on the time you want the convector turn on: for
example, to set the lighting at 8 p.m. turn the outer ring clockwise
until the arrow indicator corresponds to the number 20.
Then set the time the heater is required to run by pulling the
segments around the outer ring forward appropriate to the
running period(s) required. Whereas every rider is 15 minutes, to
1 set 1 hour move out 4 riders between 20 and 21.
When set, the heater will operate each day during the times
programmed. Note, the heater must always be plugged into a
power socket, the power selector must be in the on position
and the thermostat must be suitably set to ensure the
heater will come on.
The unit will shut off after the set time. During the set, the
operation the unit will still be governed also by the thermostat.
N.B.
If you leave the red switch on , the convector will turn
on automatically every day at the same time, as long as
power supplì is connected, the power selector is not on 0
and the thermostat is a medium position.
