JP2 JP3 Description

Closed Open Setting “cooling only”.
If the heating mode is selected, the “wrong mode” error will be generated (see
auto-diagnosis table).
Open Closed Setting “heating only”.
If the cooling or dehumidifying mode is selected, the “wrong mode” error will
be generated (see auto-diagnosis table).
Closed Closed Automatic setting “cooling only” or “heating only” according to the outside
temperature.
Above 24°C the air conditioner is set to “cooling only”, under 20°C it is set to
“heating only”, between 20°C and 24°C it is left free.
If a mode that is opposite to the air conditioner setting is selected, the “wrong
mode” error will be generated (see auto-diagnosis table).
SPECIAL SETTINGS THROUGH REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
Limitation of the desired temperature range
The air conditioner is set by default to operate with a desired temperature range between 10°C and 32°C.
To limit this range between 16°C and 24°C in heating mode and between 22°C and 28°C in cooling or dehumidifying
mode, follow the procedure below:
1. Hold down the “FILTER” button for more than 7 seconds and release it. A number will appear on the remote control
screen.
2. Press the + or - keys until the number 12 is displayed.
3. Hold down the “FILTER” button for more than 7 seconds and release it by pointing the remote control at the air
conditioning receiver. An acoustic confirmation of 4 consecutive “beeps” will confirm the successful setting.
Note: on the remote control it will still be possible to select a temperature outside the range but the air conditioner will
limit it internally.
To disable the limitation of the desired temperature range, repeat the same procedure. An acoustic confirmation of 2
consecutive “beeps” will confirm that the original setting has been reset.
High wall installation setting
In case of high wall installation of the air conditioner, activate this setting to take into account the temperature stratification
during the heating mode.
Through this setting it is possible to select the temperature difference between the lower part of the room and the position
of the air conditioner in order to calibrate the reading of the air probe on the air conditioner. By default this difference is
set to 0°C (low wall installation). In case of high wall installation, it is recommended to set a difference of 3°C.
To change this parameter, follow the procedure below:
1. Hold down the “FILTER” button for more than 7 seconds and release it. A number will appear on the remote control
screen.
2. Press the + or - keys until the number 10 is displayed.
3. Hold down the “FILTER” button for more than 7 seconds and release it by pointing the remote control at the air
conditioning receiver.
4. Hold down again the “FILTER” button for more than 7 seconds and release it. The number 10 will appear on the
remote control screen.
5. Press the + or - keys to select the desired difference ° C (max 10 ° C).
6. Hold down the “FILTER” button for more than 7 seconds and release it by pointing the remote control at the air
conditioning receiver.
