4. Inial start-up
When the device is put into operaon for the rst me, check the intactness of
the product or components and their funcon again. Please remove the kele and
the heang element from the packing and clean the unit with a damp cloth. Af-
terwards connect the kele only to a properly installed grounded socket. Before
regular use, ll the water reservoir with cold water to its maximum level and boil
according the following instrucons. Thereaer discard the water in order to re-
move any residues of the producon process.
5. Handling
Press the opening buon to open the cover. Then ll the Arendo kele with cold
water and close the cover by pressing down the cover unl it locks.
Important note: Please make sure not to ll in more than the maximum level of 1,7
l as marked on the scale, which is located on the right inner side.Place the kele
on to the boom heang and set the On/O buon downwards to heat the water.
As soon as the target temperature has been reached, the kele will automacally
turn o.
6. Decaling and cleaning
We recommend decalcifying the kele in regular intervals, depending on the
intensity of use. Before cleaning, it is essenal to remove the power plug from the
socket and wait unl the device is completely cooled down. Only use convenon-
al decaling agents based on citric acid. Please follow the manufacturer´s instruc-
ons for dosing the respecve product you have chosen. The heang element
must not be cleaned and never be processed with sharp or hard objects. For
cleaning the outer surface of the kele, only use a damp cloth. Never use hard or
abrasive objects like a wire brush or a steel-sponge for cleaning. Please do not use
any aggressive cleaning agents which could be harmful for human consumpon
or damage the surface. To avoid the risk of electric shock, never immerse the
device, the power cord or the plug in water or other liquids.
