4. U bent nu ingelogd op de box en bekijkt de Basic wireless instellingen.

Pas de wifi instellingen aan zodat ze overeenkomen met die van uw wifi

huisnetwerk / router:

• Zet Work Type op STA (station)

• Verander SSID in de exacte netwerknaam van uw eigen Wifi

huisnetwerk / router; deze naam mag geen spaties of vreemde

karakters bevatten.

In het voorbeeld gebruiken we een wifi huisnetwerk

dat als SSID de naam HuisNetwerk heeft.

• Encryption moet op het type beveiliging ingesteld worden dat u op uw

wifi huisnetwerk / router gebruikt. Bij een moderne router is dit vaak

WPA2-PSK(TKIP)

• Key Format van uw wachtwoord is afhankelijk van uw routerinstellingen[

dit moet ASCII of HEX zijn.

• Key Index is enkel relevant als uw Encryption van het type WEP is, dan

is dit meestal 1. Voor Encryption type WPA of WPA2 slaat u dit veld over.

• Encryption key is het wachtwoord van uw wifi huisnetwerk / router.

Gebruik ook hier geen spaties of vreemde karakters.

In het voorbeeld gebruiken we een wifi huisnetwerk

met als wachtwoord WifiWachtwoord
