w ThermicControl 55 is in de fabriek geijkt, dit om een correcte temperatuurmeting te garanderen. Toch kan het voorkomen dat de
thermostaat op de plaats waar hij hangt niet de temperatuur meet die overeenkomt met de heersende kamertemperatuur. De voornaamste
oorzaak hiervoor is een koude film langs de wand, maar het kan ook zijn dat de warmtestroming wordt gehinderd of beïnvloed door
bijvoorbeeld meubels, gordijnen of een deur.
Het kan in deze gevallen nuttig zijn de gemeten temperatuur aan te passen. Haal hier voor het thermostaatgedeelte van de bodemplaat (zie
monteren van de ThermicControl 55). Vlak boven het batterijcompartiment treft u (in de meeste gevallen) een ORANJE kleurige potmeter aan
(op de print aangeduid met VR1). Met behulp van een kleine schroevendraaier kunt u de potmeter links- of rechtsom draaien. Draai linksom
voor een lagere temperatuursaanduiding en rechtsom voor een hogere temperatuursaanduiding. Het duurt ongeveer een halve minuut voordat
de veranderde temperatuur wordt weergegeven.
