4. Maintenance/
cleaning
It is wise to keep an eye on your bike yourself.
The recommended/required frequency of main-
tenance/inspection varies per component.
There is no need to maintain the electrical
system. However, it is advisable to keep the
electrical parts clean and free of moist by
removing dirt with a soft dry cloth. Never open
an electrical component or insert a sharp
object into a terminal port.
4.1 Monthly Check-ups
Ball head harness (under the handlebar):
Is there no play?
Tires:
Is the reflective strip on the front and rear
tires still clean?
Are the tires inflated and in good
condition?
Pedals + Cranks: are the pedals securely
attached to the cranks and are the cranks
securely attached to the crankshaft?
Brakes: Do the front and rear brakes work
optimally?
Spokes: are they still properly attached and
are the wheels stable?
Lighting: does it work properly?
Wheels: Are the wheels properly attached?
Seat and handlebar stem: are they secu-
rely fastened in the frame and is the safety
mark not visible?
Seat post: is the bolt that holds the saddle
in place, sufficiently tightened?
4.2 Annual check-up
Take the bike to a service partner every year.
Go to the website for a service partner near
you.

DK: hellorider.dk
SE: hellorider.se
NO: hellorider.no
4.3 Cleaning
Clean the bike regularly. Tips:
Spray the bike with a garden hose and
wipe the bike dry with a dry cloth.
Use liquid soap in lukewarm or warm water
Never spray water into or against the
electrical system components.
NOTE: do not use a high-pressure clea-
ner, the water jet is too powerful and can
remove essential grease.
If you would like to know more about the
warranty, we advise you to consult the general
manual. This contains a detailed description of
the guarantee periods and the conditions that
apply to them.
