Niet zomaar een cilinder.
De roulettecilinder zit heel bijzonder in elkaar. Naast
de afwisselende rode en zwarte vakjes hebben de
nummers ook een speciale volgorde. Zo ligt naast
elk getal behorende bij de reeks van 1 tot en met 18
een getal uit de reeks van 19 tot en met 36. Een uit-
zondering hierop zijn de getallen 5 en 10. Daar
splitst de cilinder zich als het ware in twee delen.
Beide helften van de cilinder (van 0 tot 5 of van 10
tot 0) hebben elk een totaal van 333.
