krachtiging niet werken

zolang de motor niet is aangesla-

gen, waardoor meer kracht nodig

is voor de bediening van het rem-

pedaal en het stuur.

NOODSTART

STARTEN MET EEN

HULPACCU

Als de motor niet start (en de Alfa

Romeo CODE werkt op de juiste wijze),

start de motor dan met een hulpaccu,

zoals wordt beschreven in het hoofdstuk

“Noodgevallen”.

Probeer auto’s niet te

starten door ze aan te

duwen, te slepen of van

een helling af te laten rijden.

Hierdoor kan de katalysator on-

herstelbaar beschadigen.

ROLLEND STARTEN

Probeer auto’s met ka-

talysator nooit te star-

ten door ze aan te du-

wen, te slepen of van een helling

te laten rijden. Op die wijze kan

er onverbrande brandstof in de

katalysator terechtkomen, waar-

door deze onherstelbaar zal be-

schadigen.

MOTOR UITZETTEN

– Laat het gaspedaal los en wacht tot

de motor met stationair toerental draait.

– Draai de contactsleutel in stand

STOP. Hierdoor wordt de motor uit-

gezet.

BELANGRIJK Het is beter om de mo-

tor na een zware rit even “op adem” te

laten komen. Zet de motor niet onmiddel-

lijk uit, maar laat hem even stationair

draaien. Hierdoor kan de temperatuur in

de motorruimte dalen.

Geef niet bruusk gas

vlak voordat de motor

wordt uitgezet. Dit

geldt voor alle motoren, maar in

het bijzonder voor motoren die

voorzien zijn van een turbocom-

pressor.

Gasgeven voordat u de motor

uitzet heeft geen enkel nut, ver-

spilt brandstof en is zeer schade-

lijk voor de lagers in de turbo-

compressor.
