Menufunctie voertuig identificatienummer (VIN) uitlezen
Met de menufunctie "4.VIN" (Vehicle Indentification Number) kan het chassisnummer van het
voertuig gecontroleerd worden. Dit is mogelijk bij voertuigen vanaf het bouwjaar 2002, welke
de modus 9 ondersteunen.
1. Selecteer met toets "WISSEN/ERASE" (2) het menu "MENU 4.VIN". Als deze functie
niet door het voertuig ondersteund wordt, verschijnt het bericht "NOT SUPPORT".
2. Druk nu op toets "WISSEN/ERASE" (2). De 17 cijfer van het chassisnummer worden
weergegeven.
Opmerking: een knipperende pijl naar rechts wijst er op, dat er nog meer cijfers beschikbaar
zijn die bekeken kunnen worden. Bekijk deze met de toets "WISSEN/ERASE" (2).

• Druk op toets "LEZEN/READ" (3) om terug te keren naar het hoofdmenu.
Menufunctie opnieuw scannen
Met de menufunctie "5.RESCAN" kunt u belangrijke gegevens oproepen welke in de
stuureenheid opgeslagen zijn. Bovendien kan met deze functie opnieuw verbinding gemaakt
worden met het voertuig.
• Selecteer met toets "WISSEN/ERASE" (2) het menu "5.RESCAN".
• Druk vervolgens op toets "LEZEN/READ" (3".
• Om terug te keren naar het hoofdmenu drukt u op toets "WISSEN/ERASE" (2).
Voertuig diagnose- foutcodes (DTC – Diagnostic Fault Code) CD installeren
De informatie over de verschillende foutcodes vindt u in de gebruiksaanwijzing. Hier worden
de belangrijkste 1000 foutcodes opgesomd.
Op de bijgevoegde software-CD vindt u de meeste foutcodes. Informatie over de nieuwste of
speciale foutcodes (vooral “B”, “C” en “U”) vindt u op internet (zoekwoord “OBD 2) of bij uw
autohandelaar.
• Installeer de software op uw computer of laptop. Volg de installatie- instructies van de
software.
Volgende systeemeisen zijn noodzakelijk:
Windows 98, processor vanaf 133 MHz
Windows ME, processor vanaf 150 MHz
Windows 2000, processor vanaf 133 MHz
Windows XP, processor vanaf 300 MHz
Windows Vista, Processor vanaf 1 GHz
Windows 7
Let op: de bijgevoegde CD is alleen compatibel met de bovengenoemde
besturingssystemen.
