- (3): press 1 x = Starts playing the currently playing
track from the start.
press 2 x = Skips to the previous track.
press 3 x = Plays one track before that, etc.
+ (2): Use this button to skip to the next track, or the
track after the next.
Stop playback
While a track is playing, press and hold the ̈II button (1)
until the display reads “˾”.
Key lock
The key lock inhibits the operation of all buttons on the
MP3 player. This prevents you from accidentally activa-
ting buttons while using the MP3 player when you are out.
1. In order to activate the keylock, push the switch (8)
in the direction of the closed lock symbol. The lock
symbol appears in the display.
2. In order to cancel the keylock, push the switch in the
direction of the open lock symbol. The lock symbol in
the display goes off.
Main Menu
In the main menu it is possible to choose between the
PLAY MODE, EQ (Equalizer), DELETE, SETTINGS,
MUSIC and MICROPHONE.
• In order to call up the main menu press the MENU
button (6).
Navigating in the Menu
1. Press the „+“ (right) or „-“ (left) button (2/3) in the main
menu to select the desired mode. The menu image of
the selected mode appears in the display with a dark
backing.
2. Press MENU (6) to confi rm your selection and change
to the corresponding submenu.
Note: The device exits from the menu after you have
changed a setting or if you have not pressed a button for
approximately 5 seconds.
Playback mode (PLAY MODE)
Your MP3 player features a number of repeat and random
modes for playback. These are the available playback
modes:
• A-B (Repeat Passage)
Passages within a music fi le can be selected and
repeated.
1. During playback press the MENU button (6) in the
desired piece of music when the starting point is
reached from where the music should be repeated
(display reads
).
2. Press the MENU button (6) when the point is
reached at which the repeat should end (display
reads
). The device is now in the A-B mode
and begins with repeat playback.
3. Press the MENU button (6) again to deactivate the
A-B mode.
• REPEAT TRACK (Repeat 1)
The selected track is repeated until repeat is stopped
or the playback mode is changed.
• REPEAT ALL (Repeat all)
All tracks of the MP3 player are played in the se-
quence as saved and then repeated until playback is
stopped or the playback mode is changed.
• SHUFFLE REPEAT (Repeat random play)
The tracks are played in random order and then
repeated until playback is stopped or the playback
mode is changed.
• SHUFFLE ONCE (Random play)
Every track is played in a random order. Playback
stops when all tracks have been played.
• NORMAL
Tracks are played in the order as saved.
The currently selected playback mode is shown in the
bottom of the display (7). If the display does not indicate
any play mode then “NORMAL” playback mode has been
selected.
Equalizer (EQ)
Your MP3 player features 5 equalizer pre-settings which
adjust playback to the respective type of audio input.
The 6 settings are:
• ROCK
• JAZZ
• CLASSICAL (classic)
• POP
• NORMAL (no equalizer function)
• CANCEL (Exit from the Menu)
The currently selected equalizer setting is shown at the
bottom of the display (7). If no equalizer setting is indica-
ted, then the “NORMAL” setting (no equalizer function) is
activated.
Deleting a Music File (DELETE)
1. Select the dustbin symbol

2. In order to delete the current piece of music, press the
„+“ (right) or „-“ (left) button (2/3) in order to select the
dustbin symbol.
4. Press the MENU button (6) to confi rm.
(
DELETING… appears in the display).
5. In order not to delete the current piece of music, press
the „+“ (right) or „-“ (left) button (2/3) to select the X
(CANCEL).
6. Press the MENU button (6) to confi rm.
Delete all music fi les
In order to delete all music fi les at once, please proceed
as follows:
1. Select the dustbin symbol
(ALL).
2. Press the MENU button (6) to confi rm.
3. To delete all music items press the “+” (right) or “-“
(left) button (2/3) to select the dustbin symbol.
4. Press the MENU button (6) to confi rm.
(
DELETING… appears in the display).
5. If you do not wish to delete any music fi les, press
the “+” (right) or “-“ (left) button (2/3) to select the X
(CANCEL).
6. Press the MENU button (6) to confi rm.
