Beschrijving van het apparaat
Functies
De afzuigkap wordt als afzuiginstallatie
geleverd, maar kan in combinatie met het
actieve koolfilter (zie onder Extra accessoires)
ook als circulatiekap worden gebruikt.
Het afdanken
● Wees ook bij het afdanken van het apparaat beducht op gevaar. Knip,
nadat u de steker uit het stopcontact genomen hebt, het aansluitsnoer
bij de ingang van de kap af. Informeer bij uw gemeente naar de
mogelijkheden voor afvalverwerking in uw woonplaats.
Het gebruik
● Flamberen onder de afzuigkap is niet toegestaan.
● Open vuur zoals bijvoorbeeld een hoge, onbedekte gasvlam, is gevaarlijk
voor de filters en kan brand veroorzaken.
● Laat een frituurpan niet onbeheerd. Het vet of de olie kan door
oververhitting spontaan ontbranden.
● Vervang of reinig het vetfilter regelmatig. Een vervuild vetfilter kan brand
veroorzaken.
Let op! Als brand ontstaat, schakel de afzuigkap en het fornuis dan uit. Doof
de vlammen, maar doe dat nooit met water!

Het monteren van de vetfilters
De vetfilters zijn apart verpakt in de doos.
Volg de instructies voor het monteren.
● Plaats de pennen van het filter in de uitsparingen van de behuizing van
het vetfilter; gebruik vervolgens de handgrepen van het filter om de
pennen te vergrendelen.
Houd voor demontage van het filter de omgekeerde volgorde aan.
● Trek de handgrepen naar achteren om het filter te verwijderen. (afb. 1).
Als afzuigkap
De lucht wordt, door middel van een pijp
of slang van 150 mm diameter, naar
buiten afgevoerd. De pijp of slang wordt
aangesloten op de ring A (afb. 2).
