Use a screwdriver to open the battery lid. Turn the screw-
driver in the two openings near the transmitter key-ring
attachment.

Description
Mini IR transmitter with 12 standard channels. Internal set-
ting of one of fteen channel groups each with twelve chan-
nels.
Function
When the transmitter is activated IR signals are sent from the
transmitter to the IR receiver which is then activated. When
used indoors it is normally not necessary to point the trans-
mitter in the direction of the receiver. When used outdoors
however and far away from the receiver, the trans-mitter has
to be pointed in the direction of the receiver. IR-signals are
limited by walls and solid objects. The range varies between
5 and 20 metres depending on light conditions. An indicator
lamp surrounding button 9 on the transmitter emits a pulsa-
ting red light when IR transmission takes place.
Channel Selection
The channels are selected on the circuit board near the batte-
ry by soldering or unsoldering the joints according to gure
and IR chart. 15 dierent groups of 12 channels each, can be
selected. On delivery, the transmitter is set to channel 16-27.
Battery
The transmitter has a 6V Alkaline battery (4LR44). To obtain
maximum range and to avoid leakage it is essential to use
this type of battery only. Note! It is important that the pola-
rity is correct when the battery is inserted. The indicator lamp
goes out when it is time to replace the battery.
