For battery change and channel settings, open the
transmitter by undoing the screw on the rear side.
Description
The GewaLink transmitter IR-4SB is a 4 channel trans-
mitter with internal setting of one of fteen channel
groups each with four channels.
Function
When the transmitter is activated, IR signals are trans-
mitted from the transmitter to the IR receiver which is
then activated. If the receiver is installed indoors the
transmitter normally does not need to be directed
towards the receiver. When used out-doors however,
and if the transmitter is far away from the receiver, the
transmitter has to be turned in the direction of the re-
ceiver. IR signals are ob-structed by walls and solid ob-
jects. The transmitter range varies from 10 to 30 metres
depending on the light conditions.
Function Switch
Use the function switch to select the channel areas for
the transmitter. See table! Older GewaLink area is bet-
ween channel 16-31.
Battery
The transmitter uses a 9V alkaline battery. To obtain
maximum transmission and to avoid leakage it is im-
portant to use Alkaline batteries only. Be careful when
inserting the battery. It is important that the polarity is
correct. The indicator lamp goes out when it is time to
replace the battery.
