De winter is aangebroken. Het is koud, maar romantisch in Carcassonne.
Het is de tijd van hete dranken en zoet gebak. Het leven in de stad gaat
een tikje trager. Zo nu en dan duikt er echter een nieuwe gast op.

Opmerking: deze mini-uitbreiding kan uitsluitend in combinatie met de
wintereditie van Carcassonne worden gespeeld.
Voorbereiding
Alle spelregels van de wintereditie van Carcassonne zijn van
kracht. Schud de 6 landtegels met peperkoekman-symbool
door de landtegels van het basisspel. Zet de peperkoekman
op het stadsdeel van de starttegel.
Spelverloop
Trekt een speler een landtegel met een peperkoekman-symbool, dan
past hij deze volgens de gebruikelijke spelregels aan en voert hij zijn
beurt zoals gebruikelijk uit. Daarna neemt hij de peperkoekman en zet
hem in een andere, onafgebouwde stad naar keuze.
Peperkoekman-telling
1.) Verlaat de peperkoekman een stad (als gevolg van een nieuwe peperkoek-
man-tegel), dan krijgen alle spelers met één of meer ridders in deze stad
punten. Iedere speler krijgt voor elke eigen ridder 1 punt per tegel waaruit de
stad bestaat. Wapens leveren geen punten op. De ridders verlaten de stad niet.
